"The problem was diagnosed and fixed, but the dual run capacitor that had gone bad (45/7.5uf) was replaced with two separate capacitors (40uf and 5uf) taped together, which is not an exact match of the original capacitor. I understand that they may not have every single type of capacitor available in the truck, and the solution works, but paying $170 for a sub-standard replacement is unreasonable given its literally a $15 part."

"Technician was 30+ minutes late and never called, I had to call and find out that he was on his way. He had a mask but no gloves, I gave him a pair. Once outside he was on his phone the whole time and I have NO confidence that he was paying attention to the job! He took forever sitting in his truck and just left the units running until I readjusted them to keep from freezing us out. We've had too many issues over the years to send a 5 month rookie to do our inspection. Please only send a veteran from now on and I can only hope everything is working right as we approach the hot of summer."

"The service tech came out yesterday and did the seasonal check on our A/C units. That service was great. What we are very disappointed about, is what happened later that same day. We noticed in the late afternoon, that the downstairs program panel unit stopped working. The screen is frozen and will not allow any updates. We called, and they said someone would be out today to see what happened. I called again late this morning to see if there was an ETA - and were told that someone would be out - they'd give us a call. It is now 6pm. No one has called, no one has come. We have been waiting at the house all day. We pay the monthly fee to be members of the Advantage program - but am now wondering if this special fee is worth it - not to mention, that the very very expensive units we paid for with "top of the line" control panels are on the blitz after two short years. Not a good customer experience. We realize that in the current environment juggling schedules is challenging. The least you could do is provide a courtesy call - to let us know that no one was coming. Is anyone ever going to come?"

(I wanted them to be very careful with the floor tile, and not set tools or tool bags down on it, etc). I would have given them a 10 but they had to cut THREE holes in my walls to get this fixed, and the leak was not where he said it was originally. I'm not sure what the point is for a $ 425 leak detection if its wrong. I am assuming the leak was indeed fixed and the new line is not leaking in between the walls, now that it is in the attic. SO in sum, I thought these guys did a fabulous job and were SO pleasant and nice to work with."

"Once Juan arrived (I don't believe Juan was my originally scheduled technician), he did a great job! However, my appointment window was from 10 -12. A technician did not arrive until 2:40. That was after MULTIPLE phone calls by me. There was no problem solving by the operators. I offered up rescheduling and the next appointment time offered was on May 21st. So I was just left hanging waiting for an unknown arrival time. Then as soon as the technician arrived, I received two separate phone calls from a sales person. I wish the actual technician was as prompt as the sales person but I guess they just virtually travel with the technician. I have to say that I'm not crazy about that tactic. That being said, the rating would be much lower if not for Juan. I have been a customer since 2002 so I am pretty frustrated that with size, I believe that some sense of customer service is being lost. Also, I did not initiate this appointment, Levy and Sons did. I have a UV light system which needed a new bulb. Again, no bulb. Yet, here I am a long standing valued customer who YOU initiated my appointment. I have the sales rep calling me a couple times yet the very thing that I need replaced, you don't have. However, I was getting a new hot water heater pushed fairly strongly."

"The HVAC service was fine. Steven (would prefer a non-smoker next time) performed service and cleared a clog in the A/C drain, resulting in a back-up in the bathroom sink. Hand-off from Service Experts (HVAC) and Levy & Son (Plumbing) was terrible (no-show later that day, as promised). It took 4 subsequent trips to clear the clog. Alex (dont know last name) made a ridiculous $2,300 recommendation to replace pipes in the wall, when it actually only took someone who knew how to run a snake to clear the pipes. Responses to following questions are based on the TOTAL experience (not just Steven). We have active service agreements on 4 different properties, and feel obligated to continue...at this point."
